My sister thought of a great Christmas gift for Matthew this year, . . . a train ride at the beautifully restored Strasburg Railroad. Matthew is so into trains right now and riding on one, especially one this unique and beautiful, was not something he will soon forget! We went the day after Christmas and though the air was crisp, it was so sunny and bright outside. It was the perfect day for a classic train ride, in a car warmed by a potbelly stove, as we enjoyed some leftover Christmas cookies and treats. Like the polar express come to life, this train was so lovely and cozy, I think I would take it all the way back to the mid-west if I could! Thanks Zia Laura and Uncle Steve for such a fun Christmas gift!
