As part of our Christmas vacation out east, we had a short family reunion with my extended family from Conneticut. We met at a B&B in New Jersey on Sunday, the nicest winter day I can ever remember. By a weird freak of nature, and a blessing from above, the high that day happened to be 66 degrees! So late that afternoon we went down to the shoreline near where we were staying. What a fun treat! We dug holes, shot pictures, listened to the waves, and even watched some surfers brave the ocean on Dec. 28th!
