This one's especially for the family members who don't get to see what Matthew's upto on a daily basis. First of all, we are realizing that doors work as baby gates when the baby can't open them. When I walk into the room and find Matthew knocking from the opposite side of the french doors, smiling in at me, they have then officially failed the mission of keeping him inside the living room.
As you can see, he also likes to smoosh his face on them, which mommy LOVES to clean up.
Matthew is also getting the hang of football season. Like father, like son: sofa, remotes, and Colt's jersey, means he's ready for the big game!
Finally, Matthew is trying to grow up fast, but he's still my baby at heart. Although he's recently switched to one nap a day, starting at 1 p.m., he doesn't always quite make it through lunch.

I love that last picture! That was Sam at that age!!! It was rare, but I do have a few pictures of him sleeping in his highchair.
Matthew is so cute!!!!
that is the most precious picture (nap) every. Actually, in all those pictures he reminds me more and more of Eric - the goofy playing around with the window, watching TV and then napping. All things Eric does (and loves to do). :) I miss you! November can't come soon enough!
oh my goodness. I love that last picture.
That last picture of Matthew has a very strong resemblance to Grandpa Mike when he finally sits to watch tv and there is nothing on but people talking- blah blah blah. Then you hear ZZZZZZ.
Of course Matthew IS much cuter:)
